The 7th Grade Band will be leaving the Middle School at 2:30 pm, arriving in Oscoda at 3 pm to setup and warm-up, and performing at 4 pm in the auditorium.
All 7th Grade students MUST HAVE black socks and black dress shoes as well as their Red Band Polos. You still have a few weeks so make sure to secure those items if you were missing those for the other performances.
The High School Band performs at 8:05 pm. I'd like the High School students to arrive at the High School at 5:45 pm in their Concert Uniforms, load up on the bus, and leave for Oscoda at 6:15 pm. They'll arrive at 6:45 pm, we'll unload, and prepare to go into the warm-up room.
After the performances both bands typically stop for dinner on the way home (Shamrock shakes usually make their appearance at McD's about that time of the year... :), so please have your student bring a little bit of cash if they wish to eat after the performance.
High Schoolers---please come to the school having eaten a good dinner--we won't be able to stop anywhere until after 9 pm and that's a long time to go without food and I want you at your best that evening!
I'll be sending reminders home as well as posts in the FB group but please keep an eye on this and plan accordingly.
If you wish to ride home with your parents, please have a signed note from both your parent and a school administrator saying that you can take your child home from the event (we have to do this for legal reasons).
I am in need of two chaperones for both trips. Chaperones will be responsible for either getting the students on the bus or bringing them home (as I'll be riding to Osocoda with the 7th Grade and riding back with the H.S.).
