Original Festival Announcements
Double check to make sure we're set with uniforms:
7th Grade: Black Dress Pants, black dress socks, black dress shoes. They'll get their Red Band Polos Friday before we leave.
HS: Their High School concert uniforms. Tuesday, I want the boys to bring in their pants and we're going to do a quick "Pant Length" check as to make sure that we're all set there or if we need to do some hemming or let out some length. If you already know that you need some changes made, please bring them in first thing so we can get that taken care of!
Friday, please dress nicely during the school day---like the sports teams, these are our "Game Days"!
I still need two more chaperones for each band, so please email me or message me via the Remind Service if you can help out.
7th Grade chaperones need to be at the Middle School at 2:45 pm and will be riding with the students back to the Middle School after the performance so they'll need to wait with students until they get picked up (approx. 6-6:30 pm)
HS Chaperones need to be at the HS at 4:30 pm to help make sure all of the students are dressed, they have their instruments, music, etc.
Both bands will be stopping for dinner on the way home (either Oscoda or in Tawas) so please send a few $$ with your students to enjoy a Shamrock Shake (Festival Tradition!) or whatever they would like :)
We have also kicked off March Madness and we'll have our first 6th Grade Spirit Day Monday! We do a competition throughout the month where we do a Scale Bracket, one on one as well as team challenges, Musical PIG, and new this year, Band Around the World!
