Madison Galli and Kayla Vincenty-Cole earned a 2 Rating on their French Horn Duet
Our High School Percussion Sextet earned a Superior Rating and consisted of Kiera Kimsel, Jenna Vincenty-Cole, Hannah Hays-Butterfield, Stephanie Young, Julisa Westheim, and Doug Ferguson
Emily Ramsdell earned a 77/100 on her Proficiency 2 Trumpet Solo
Bryce Moon earned a Superior Rating on his 9th Grade Clarinet Solo
Cameron Ott earned a 72/100 on her Proficiency 1 Baritone Solo
Our Brass Quintet earned a Superior Rating, and consisted of Aleigha Kimsel, Emily Ramsdell, Doug Ferguson, Kayla Vincenty-Cole, and Nathan Koehn.
Stuart Werner, Gregory Jacot, and Hannah Theaker earned an Excellent (2) Rating for their Saxophone Trio
And Gregory Jacot scored a 96/100 on his Proficiency 2 Clarinet Solo!
We also had 3 combined school pieces:
Doug Ferguson and Ashley Falls (Gladwin) scored a Superior Rating on their Marimba Solo
Aleigha Kimsel, Emily Ramsdell, Kayla Vincenty-Cole, and Brenden Haire earned a Superior Rating with their Tawas/Oscoda Trumpet Chamber Choir
And Stuart Werner earned a Superior Rating with his Saxophone Quartet from AuGres.
Well done to all of the students! It takes a lot of dedication and hard work to prepare all of these pieces (many of you were in multiple events), memorize scales, practice sight reading, as well as carry on keeping up your grades AND being top athletes in your spring sports!
